To learn: Chinese school bought an Airbus A320
Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College in China's Zhejiang Province has made headlines by purchasing a retired Airbus A320 from Air Canada for 15 million RMB (about $2.1 million).
The plane, with a body length of 37.57 meters and a wingspan of 35.8 meters, will be used to enhance the practical skills of students.
The school plans to hire professionals to assemble and test the aircraft's components and to develop relevant coursework. Over 400 students are expected to benefit from this hands-on experience starting in spring 2024.
